HISTORY

The hotel was built in 1967 during communism in Ex-Yugoslavia, and is a typical building from this period. It served as a holiday resort for the citizens of Novi Sad, doctors and other medical staff. During the civil war in Ex-Yugoslavia it served as shelter and accommodation for the refugees. In 2001 the Hotel was privatized and fully renovated. Ever since it has been operating as Plaza Hotel (in engl. Beach Hotel) and was re-branded into “Beach Hotel” in 2016.

If you want to leave everyday life behind, our Mediterranean oasis is where you will find shelter. Drašnice is a place located on the road between Split and Dubrovnik on the Makarska Riviera, only 10 minutes away from the town Makarska by car, and places within like Brela, Baška Voda, Gradac, Živogošće, Drvenik, therefore it is very close and easy accessible to many attractions nearby.
It is among the most beautiful locations on the Adriatic Sea which Makarska Riviera has to offer. This small and peaceful fishing village between Podgora and Igrane, is being adorned by Hotel Plaža, which is located directly on the beach by the sea.
